averan galeAveran Gale is an experienced green media producer with a passion for sharing positive stories that are inspiring and solutions-based.

As the video director for Green Festival, he has produced hundreds of full-length videos of main stage speakers, exclusive interviews with festival partners and speakers, B-roll and promotional videos.

He continues to pursue independent projects that highlight community activism, environmentalism and spirituality. He was awarded the first place jury prize at the 2008 Fairfax Film Festival for his entry in the 48-hour documentary challenge. The 4-minute piece, filmed and edited in 48 hours, explored facets of Buddhism and Tai Chi.

She is the host of Equator HD's "Keep It Green", a weekly half-hour TV program that covers topics such as conservation, social justice and green technology. She draws on her green expertise to interview leading experts from groups such as Popular Science, Doctors Without Borders and the National Audubon Society.

As the host of Green Festival TV, Melissa has interviewed leading thinkers and activists such as Bill McKibben, Amy Goodman, Ralph Nader, Majora Carter and Dennis Kucinich.
